Walk on the typical quarters of Mouraria, Castelo and Alfama and be amazed by the beauty of the old genuine neighborhoods of Lisbon! Learn about traditions, history and geography by visiting beautiful viewpoints with amazing views. Get to know the popular characters of the city, our symbols, our favorite snacks, the most exciting legends and myths, and the unique details that are even a secret to some locals.

Private tour aimed for families with children aged 6 to 12 years old (younger and older siblings are welcome). This tour includes a unique range of fun and educational activities (challenges and games) highlighting the history and culture of the city in a light-hearted and child friendly manner.

Itinerary / Visited places: walking tour around Mouraria, Castelo and Alfama. Stops inMartim Moniz square, Largo da Severa, Chão de Loureiro (viewpoint), Castle of São Jorge (no entrance), Santa Luzia (viewpoint), Portas do Sol, Lisbon’s Cathedral.

Price: 195 € (up to 4 participants) and EUR 15 € /person for extra participants. Free for children under 48 months.

Meet Your guide: Praça Dom Pedro IV (Rossio Square). Nearest subway stations: Rossio (green line) or Restauradores (blue line). Pick-up at hotel available on request for an extra cost (price and availability depends on location of pick-up).

Walking Tour Level

Level 1 – Easy

Flat terrain without obstacles. Wheelchair accessible. Duration 2h

Level 2 – Easy to Moderate

Mainly flat terrain (about 70% flat), gentle climbs and descents. Some steps. Wheelchair accessible only with the help of a third party. Duration is around 2 to 3 hours.

Level 3 – Moderate

Terrain about 40 to 60% flat. Moderate climbs and descents. Steps. not wheelchair accessible. Duration 3 hours

Level 4 – Demanding

Terrain about 20% to 40% flat. Some steep climbs and descends. Steps and uneven surfaces. Recommend for fit travelers. Duration between 3 to 5 hours.

Level 5 – Difficult

Rolling and often steep terrain, 10 to 20% flat terrain. Uneven surfaces. Recommended for travelers used to hiking tours in nature.
