We will visit on foot the main neighborhoods of city center of Porto such as Clérigos neighborhood where we have the tallest bell tower of the city and also the famous Lello bookshop (outside visit), the Cathedral (outside visit), the São Bento Train Station and Ribeira (riverside) passing by the Stock Exchange Palace and the St. Francis Church. As we walk you e will have time to stop and take the best photos at the same time as I tell you about the city’s history and traditions.

]]> My name is Joana and Porto is my hometown. I graduated with a degree in Modern Languages and Literature at the University of Porto and post-graduation in Tourism Information. My next goal is to have an MA in Art History, Heritage and Visual Culture. I have been working in tourism since 2005 and what started as new work experience ended up becoming my passion. I have 15+ years of experience in the cruise industry and since 2020 I have returned to guiding full time. When I am not guiding, I am enjoying some quality time with my daughter or reading a good book, watching a nice series on TV. I love to show my country to those who choose to visit us. I am passionate about history, wine and food. But I also love to share those funny stories about the sites we visit.
